I’ve been waiting most impatiently for months to share this stunning collaborative shoot with you, and I’m just giddy to share as it is now featured on the lovely 100 Layer Cake! This shoot was an absolute dream, truly every aspect and detail was sheer perfection! I was utterly captivated; from the blue, airy beach setting to the sun-soaked field to the rough, wild, and moody, rocky shoreline, it was entrancing terrain.
I was honored to work with the talented Claire Marika Photography and Martha Hatfield Design, as well as other incredibly talented vendors, listed below. Be sure to check out Claire’s images from this same shoot as well, not to mention the DIY Wire & Bead Crown Tutorial, brought to you by Martha and featured last month on Style Me Pretty!
“The inspiration for this shoot came from the breathtaking beauty found on Antelope Island State Park. I wanted to design a tablescape that would complement the elegant, organic beauty of nature and that could be translated for any outdoor wedding. A sophisticated palette of soft neutrals allows for the natural beauty of the blossoms in any arrangement to shine. Wood chairs pair nicely with the neutral color palette and can echo the tones found in your outdoor location. A simple announcement suite, complete with deckled edges, can set the tone of the event for your guests while feeling cohesive with the location, tablescape and overall aesthetic of the day. The finishing touches will shine through in your appearance. Opting for a gown that has an ethereal quality to it will only add to the understated elegance of the day. Be sure to work closely with your hair and makeup artist to create a soft look that compliments the gown you’ve selected. The final touch? An elegant wire and bead crown that can be crafted in the days leading up to your wedding day.” -Martha, Martha Hatfield Design
